Sustainable milestones

We are actively committed to sustainability in order to make our products and processes as future-orientated as possible. We focus on acting in a holistically responsible manner – that means taking responsibility for our planet and for the well-being of our employees, customers and partners.

Our focus is on reducing our corporate carbon footprint by working with European suppliers and developing sustainable product concepts. As part of the CURA COSMETICS GROUP, the majority of our employees work in a company building that was built to passive house standards and is equipped with photovoltaic systems. employees work in a company building that was built to passive house standards and is equipped with photovoltaic systems.

Nachhaltigkeit bei Lifestyle Distribution

Our entire perfume range is vegan or vegetarian.

Our perfumes are NOT tested on animals* and we are committed to animal rights.

We use natural ingredients and micro-plastic-free formulations.

*According to EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009, animal testing for cosmetic products is prohibited in the EU. As advertising with self-evident facts is prohibited in the EU, we do not advertise this on our products.

What we focus on

We consistently use recyclable materials, avoid plastics, and opt for recyclates instead. In the area of glass recycling, we aim to reuse materials and create closed cycles. Our production is geared towards using resources as efficiently as possible and minimising waste.

We also pay attention to the highest environmental standards for our carton packaging and only use certified FSC® paper. The internationally recognised ‘Forest Stewardship Council’ certification system stands for sustainable and environmentally friendly forest management that ensures the long-term preservation of our forests through responsible management.

NATRUE

The NATRUE label stands for the highest quality and transparency in natural and organic cosmetic products. With our NATURE BLOSSOM brand, we have a NATRUE-certified perfume and body oil line in our range. Products bearing this seal meet strict criteria and are certified by an independent organisation. Furthermore, all products must consist of 100% natural, near-natural and nature-identical substances.

The well-being of
animals is important to us

The protection of animals is an essential part of our corporate philosophy. We are committed to developing and manufacturing all our products without animal testing. This is in line with both our ethical principles and the legal requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on the protection of animals. We use alternative test methods and work closely with organisations that are committed to animal welfare. In this way, we ensure that our products are both safe and animal-friendly.

The difference between vegan and vegetarian

Both characteristics contribute to sustainability and animal welfare but differ in the extent to which they avoid animal products.

Vegan cosmetics and perfumes do not contain any ingredients of animal origin. This means that no animal products such as honey, beeswax or animal fats are used. .

Vegetarian cosmetics and perfumes, on the other hand, may contain animal products such as milk, honey or beeswax, but do not contain ingredients such as animal fats or collagen.

The majority of our perfumes are vegan or vegetarian.
